UPDATE FOR APRIL 1

A fourth Washoe County resident has died from COVID-19

Reno/Sparks, NV – The Regional Information Center today is reporting the fourth death in Washoe County from COVID-19.

The decedent was a male in his 40s with an underlying health condition.

The Health District is reporting 20 additional cases of COVID-19 and five additional recoveries.

  • Total COVID-19 cases in Washoe County: 163
  • Deaths: 4
  • Recoveries: 18
  • Active cases: 141

Seniors and social distancing

Seniors who must go out for groceries, gas, medications, or any other reason necessary should do the following:

  • Remain at least 6 feet from another person in public.
  • Stay away from anyone who is sick or exhibiting signs of illness
  • Cough or sneeze in sleeve.
