Nov. 13, 2020. Reno/Sparks, NV – The Regional Information Center is reporting three COVID-19-related deaths in Washoe County and a record 529 new COVID-19 cases in Washoe County.

The deceased are three males (two in their 50s and one in his 80s), one had underlying health conditions, and it was unknown if the other two had underlying health conditions.

The 529 COVID-19 cases reported is the single most to date (Previous was 469 on Nov. 7). The rise in COVID-19 transmission is creating issues throughout the community, including reduced capacity at our area hospitals, delays in COVID-19 test result notification as well as disease investigation and contact tracing.

Residents are urged to follow Gov. Steve Sisolak’s Stay Home 2.0 and refrain from leaving your home and participating in gatherings until disease transmission rates decrease. The sooner we can come together and take precautions against spreading COVID-19, the sooner we can go back to normal.
