410 new COVID-19 cases, 113 recoveries reported

Active cases climb past 4,000 in Washoe County

Nov. 11, 2020. Reno/Sparks, NV – The Regional Information Center is reporting 410 new COVID-19 cases in Washoe County and the active case count surpassed 4,000 for the first time.

The 410 new cases reported is the second most in a single day (469 was record on Nov. 7, 2020). The active case count is at 4,141, an all-time high.

This is the first day since Nov. 3 that there wasn’t a COVID-19-related death reported, breaking a streak of seven days.

  • Total COVID-19 cases in Washoe County: 16,881 (+410 from 11/10)
  • Deaths: 212 (+0)
  • Recovered: 12,528 (+113)
  • Active cases: 4,141 (+297)

COVID-19 tests performed in Washoe County

  • Total number of COVID-19 tests performed in Washoe County as of November 11: 198,398 (+1,710 since 11/10)

Note: These figures are provided by the State of Nevada and can be found on the State Dashboard. COVID-19 tests may include non-Washoe County residents who were tested in Washoe County.

Hospital bed and ventilator information

According to the Nevada Hospital Association, in Washoe County as of November 10:

  • 84 percent staffed hospital beds are occupied (+4% since 11/10)
  • 72 percent of all licensed hospital beds are occupied (+4%)
  • 63 percent of all Intensive Care Unit beds are occupied (+8%)
  • 25 percent of all ventilators are in use (+1%)

NOTE: Numbers are for all hospital patients in Washoe County and not just COVID-19 patients.
