In addition, there were 54 new cases of COVID-19 in Washoe County on Sunday with 37 recoveries; the 54 additional cases are the most in one day in Washoe County.

The Washoe County Health District notes the increase is attributed to an outbreak in a residential state-licensed facility Arbors Memory Care, which accounts for nearly half of the new cases.
